Greetings!

I think we can all agree that we are happy February is over – at least from a weather perspective. Even though we are in Florida I sympathize greatly with all my friends up north because I remember winters like this (I used to live in New York City). It’s one of the reasons I moved to South Florida.

With March, hopefully the winds will shift and spring will appear and give us all a renewed bounce in our step. I do think it’s happening from a business perspective. Everyone I have been speaking with lately is very excited about how business seems to be moving upward and onward.

I think one of the reasons it’s continuing to move for so many of us is that we continue to get out to meet clients, participate in networking events and trade shows and ask for referrals. When the recession hit a few years ago many of us had become “comfortable” and we were not necessarily working our business the way we should to keep our pipeline going.

March brings the end of the first quarter and it makes many of us look at where our sales are against plan. As a matter of fact, I had a good conversation just yesterday with a fellow business owner and he asked me a simple question – “For a very large project, what’s the typical decision process timing?” And as I answered, I realized that I’m almost behind for 2016! Not really, but close enough to give me pause, especially given some of our growth plans.

So what about you? What is your sales cycle? What are your growth plans for the next 3 years? Is your pipeline primed and ready?

We can help. We can keep you top of mind with useful leave behinds or trade show gifts or entice your prospects with a dimensional direct mail campaign to help open those doors for you.

Don’t forget, if you’re serious about growing your sales you need to be thinking way ahead of the end of March and your first quarter sales goals!

More Soon!

Did you Know: The Chinese New Year falls on February 19th this year. So you can say it with a cheeky smile, some confetti, maybe some well-timed fortune cookies filled proverbs and prophecies of successful business ventures and partnerships for the coming year. 2015 is the year of the Goat. That in itself may inspire ideas!
