Greetings!

It was hard to see Christmas decorations competing with Halloween this year. Most newscasters were commenting on how our “buying” season is shorter because Thanksgiving is later this year.

Well, I guess if everyone waits until after Thanksgiving to start shopping each year then that’s true. But the number of days each year stays the same. December 25 th is always December 25 th .

However, I get it. We are constantly in touch with our clients to remind them of events or these types of holidays where you may want to say: “thank you”. And still people wait until the last minute to make decisions.

I have been working with one client since early September for an event they are holding in early December. And you guessed it, still no decision. Well, that’s not entirely true, they have made decisions, but they’ve changed their minds twice already. So, now we are getting to a critical time and they may
not get what they want. Their event is the Monday after Thanksgiving so we need to deliver before Thanksgiving. And production timing is getting tight.

In this instant gratification world, it is hard for people to remember that not everything can happen immediately. While production times have decreased over the years during the fourth quarter they increase again. It’s a volume time of year. Many people are buying more at the end of the year than they
do any other time of the year.

As a matter of fact, most of the factories have gone to three shifts and have still extended their production time three to five days longer.

If you are thinking about something for the year-end to thank your employees or clients, now is the time to act. Don’t be a procrastinator and end up handing out your holiday gifts in February!

Let us know if we can help.

Let’s Make It The Season Of Authenticity, Gratitude And Generosity

From the hauntingly sweet celebration of Halloween, we move into the season of thanks and giving.
Our hearts open wide, and our generosity of spirit very often tends to extend to those we know and love as well as complete strangers. Seasonal songs suddenly flow through us. Joy fills the air. But, as a business owner, where do your thoughts of thanks go first? I hope your answer is to your employees.
